Why do the step counters on Alex' phone and Maggie's phone not sync up when supposedly Alex is carrying it?
How does the State explain no steps being recorded on Maggie's phone during the dog video at 8:44?
Why does Maggie's phone register a certain number of steps, supposedly made by the killer, and not recreate those steps back to the house? Perhaps because these steps are also consistent with the killer transporting the phone to the side of the road to a waiting car?
Step data
a. At 8:53:15 to 8:55:32, Maggie's phone records 59 steps, or approximately .02 miles.
b. How fast is a 70 step per minute pace? Many fitness experts consider a brisk walking pace to be 100 steps per minute or 3 to 3.5 miles per hour. Thus, 70 steps per minute is approximately 2.1 miles an hour of walking speed. This is not a jog and hardly a brisk walk.
c. At 9:02:18 to 9:06:47, Alex’ phone records 283 steps at 70 steps per minute which calculates to .15 miles of travel. What does this distance correlate with?
Things are going so well, that I am having to pinch myself -- after all the traumas of the past 2 years - I am finally in a great place. TY for all the support!
